
Ryan Myers is a Senior Partner with New York Life in the Greater Oregon General Office, with over a decade of experience in financial services and leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate, from the University of Denver.
Ryan began his career with New York Life in 2014 in the Alaska General Office. As an advisor, he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and earned Executive Council honors in consecutive years. He was subsequently promoted into management, where he was named Partner of the Year in 2017 and contributed to the growth and development of the Alaska office over a four-and-a-half-year period.
He later served as Managing Partner of the Nashville General Office for four years, where he led advisor development, recruiting, and overall office performance. He currently serves as Senior Partner in the Greater Oregon General Office, focusing on organizational growth, leadership development, and strategic initiatives.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ryan enjoys a range of outdoor activities, including snowboarding, hiking, biking, camping, and fishing. He also values spending time with his dog, Kinley.

She began her career with New York Life in October 2018 and quickly distinguished herself as a high-performing financial professional. Within her first few years, she was recognized as Greater Oregon New Organization Agent of the Year (2019) and went on to qualify for Executive Council (2020) and President’s Council (2021). She built her practice on a foundation of disciplined activity, protection-first planning, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right for the client. Mariah holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses, along with the SIE.
In October 2022, she entered the Associate Partner Program and was promoted to Partner in April 2023. Since stepping into leadership, she has been recognized as Partner of the Year for Oregon (2023 and 2025) and, in 2025, ranked #9 nationally in New Organization Production, leading the Pacific Zone in this category.

Lou Junior Mariette is an Associate Partner at New York Life Insurance Company, where he is passionate about recruiting, developing, and empowering talented individuals from all backgrounds to build meaningful careers in financial services.
Born and raised in Brussels, Belgium, Lou has always carried an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset. His journey began long before financial services, through music, hospitality, events, consulting, and business ownership. As a DJ and music producer, he performed across Europe, learning how to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds. As a business owner and operator in Brussels, he developed hands-on experience in leadership, customer service, operations, marketing, team development, and building strong relationships.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lou moved to the United States while all of his family remained in Europe. During a time of uncertainty, he leaned on his faith, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit to build a new life and a new professional network from the ground up. Through community involvement, consistent networking, and a genuine desire to serve others, he began creating meaningful relationships in Portland and building a business rooted in trust, service, and connection.
Since joining New York Life in 2021, Lou has been dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners prepare for the unexpected and build stronger financial futures. Lou is also deeply committed to community leadership. He serves as Chair of the Ambassador Board for Youth Villages, helping promote awareness, fundraising, networking, and support for children and families. He is also Co-Chair of BELWEST Portland, supporting business connections between Belgium, Luxembourg, Europe, and the United States, and he co-hosts French Connection Portland, creating space for language, culture, and community. He has also served on the Emerging Professionals of Portland Leadership Committee through the Portland Metro Chamber.

Carlos Landazuri serves as a Senior Service Leader with New York Life, supporting the Pacific Zone onsite operation for the Greater Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Wyoming, and San Fernando Valley General Offices. In this role, he is responsible for driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and consistent client experience across a diverse, multi-regional footprint.
Carlos partners closely with General Office leadership and service teams to implement best practices, streamline processes, and strengthen service delivery. His leadership focuses on developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that both agents and clients receive responsive, high-quality support.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Oregon State University in 2001. Carlos further advanced his professional expertise by earning the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2004 and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2008 from The American College. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 63, and 99 licenses.

Chad Bunger began his career with New York Life in 2010 as an agent in the Greater Oregon General Office after spending seven years in the banking industry. Since then, he has continued to grow within the organization, being promoted to Development Manager in 2012, Senior Development Manager in 2015, and ultimately Director of Development in 2019.
As Director of Development, Chad oversees the training and development program for the Greater Oregon General Office and its sales offices. He is passionate about helping advisors grow their businesses, develop professionally, and build long-term success through strong training, mentorship, and leadership.
A native Oregonian, Chad has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf whenever he can. Outside of work, family is at the center of his life. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for 10 years and are proud parents to two amazing children, ages 5 and 7.

Sharon D. Gerlach, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL® was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, and moved to Missoula after High School where she attended the University of Montana. Sharon graduated with a degree in Business Administration focused on Finance. During her college years, Sharon interned with D.A. Davidson & Co and earned her FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. Alongside these, Sharon also holds the Series 9, 10, 24, and 65 registrations.
With more than twenty years dedicated to Compliance and Supervision, Sharon is truly passionate about helping Advisors serve their clients in a compliant and ethical manner. Outside of work, Sharon enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and is always enthusiastic about the great outdoors.
